Katie trained as a young dancer with the National Youth Dance Company and as an actor with the National Youth Theatre, before 3 years professional training at Guildford School of Acting (where she won the Acting Prize.) She has appeared on stage in London, on tour in the UK, and off Broadway, New York, and on television for the BBC and ITV, as well as numerous commercials. Movement Director for Zog on tour.
Katie began working as an associate choreographer for the National Youth Music Theatre when she was 21 and has been working as a professional, freelance director/choreographer for the past 8 years. Her work spans schools, colleges, UK drama schools, National Youth companies, regional theatre, West End Theatre, choreography for International music and comedy acts, music videos, Royal Galas, and work within the community
