Contemporary Fusion

If one hour a week at one of our Sussex TTW Schools doesn’t satisfy your need to dance, we offer a number of classes at our Sussex Dance Academy including Contemporary. Contemporary dance encourages the students to develop their creativity.

We run a Senior for students age 13 + and some dance experience is required.

emphasis on posture, spatial awareness and performance technique
all dance classes are taught by our team of highly experienced tutors
students are not only taught steps but are taught how to rectify any faults before poor technique sets in, which can be challenging to correct at a later stage
students choreograph their own dances to develop imagination and expression through movement

Dance Academy students have had the opportunities to dance professionally in numerous shows including: Life Through Dance (with Strictly’s Pasha Kovalev), Billy Elliot (West End), Matilda (West End), Gypsy (Chichester Festival Theatre and West End), Swan Lake (UK Tour) and many more.
