All uniform can be purchased through The Theatre Workshop.

To order uniform, please fill out a “uniform order form” and hand it to our manager at one of our schools.

Mandatory clothing items

  • The Theatre Workshop T-shirt
  • Black Jazz Shoes
  • Black leggings, joggers or jazz pants
  • Black socks.
  • Optional – Hoody or zip up hoody

  • BALLET:Those identifying as GIRLS:
    • Black regulation leotard
    • Your skin colour Ballet Tights
    • Your skin colour Ballet Shoes with ribbons for Grade 4 and above, but elastic for lower grades (for exams these must be satin ballet shoes – ribbons are not required for Grade 1)
    • Hair to be worn in a neat ballet bun

    Those identifying as BOYS:

    • Black regulation dance shorts/tights (tights must be worn for Grade 3 and above)
    • White fitted vest or leotard
    • White ballet socks (worn pulled up)
    • Black leather ballet shoes

    Non Binary students:

    • Your choice from the combination above

  • TAP:Those identifying as GIRLS: 
    • Black regulation dance leotard
    • Black Jazz Trousers
    • Black Tap Shoes
    • Black Socks
    • Hair to be worn in a high ponytail

    Those identifying as BOYS: 

    • Black vest/leotard/t-shirt
    • Black Jazz Trousers
    • Black Tap Shoes
    • Black Socks

    Non Binary students:

    • Your choice from the combination above

  • Uniform for non-exam classes can be students own choice based on the following guidelines. This doesn’t include baggy clothing or fashion wear, apart from in Commercial. You must arrive suitably dressed in fitted clothing that will enable you to move easily.Those identifying as GIRLS: 
    • Black Leotard of your choice with either black  tights, leggings or jazz pants
    • Black Ballet shoes/jazz shoes/sneakers/bare feet – own choice

    Those identifying as BOYS: 

    • Black Vest/T-shirt/Leotard of your choice with black jogging trousers/Jazz pants/shorts – own choice
    • Black Ballet shoes/jazz shoes/jazz sneakers/bare feet – own choice

    Non Binary students:

    • Your choice from the combination above

    COMMERCIAL:

    Any of the above, but BLACK BAGGY joggers and tshirts are also allowed.
